In its third consecutive year of collaboration with the Melbourne Indigenous Transition School (MITS), Penrite Racing continued to champion cultural representation through sport. The 2025 livery featured original artwork by MITS students Ella and Jamelia, whose designs reflected their personal journeys and educational experiences while boarding with MITS. Their powerful artwork was seamlessly integrated into the liveries of Matthew Paynes #19 and Kai Allens #26 Mustangs. Visually, the livery burst with colour and detail blending Penrites iconic gold and red logo with flowing lines, hand-drawn motifs, and cultural symbols drawn from Ella and Jamelias stories. The design wrapped around the Mustangs body in rich tones of green, red, yellow, and white, symbolising strength, connection, and opportunity. It stood as a proud and moving celebration of Indigenous culture on the national motorsport stage. With an incredible indigenous livery ticked off, results on track for the team were next, and they were solid for both drivers. Paynes efforts included two podiums out of the three races to cap off a successful weekend at Hidden Valley Raceway for the team. The vibrant livery was more than just a bold statement on track; it served as a meaningful tribute to the Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation, the Traditional Custodians of the land, and a gesture of respect to Elders past, present, and emerging.
