Description

In 2013, the world was destroyed by an apocalyptic event, which destroyed almost all of humanity and turned the Earth’s surface into a poisonous wasteland. A handful of survivors took refuge in the depths of the Moscow metro, and human civilization entered a new dark century.

The year is 2033. An entire generation has been born and raised underground, and their besieged Metro Station Cities compete for survival, with each other and the mutated horrors that await outside.

You’re Artyom, born in the last days before the fire, but grew up underground. After never going outside the city limits, a fateful event leads to a desperate mission to the heart of the metro system, to warn the remains of humanity of a terrible threat.

But will they even listen? Instead of being united, the Metro’s factions are locked in a battle for ultimate power, a doomsday device from the military vaults of D6. A civil war is stirring that humanity can wipe off the face of the earth forever.
